The capital of Bosnia & Herzegovina, Sarajevo, is a cosmopolitan European capital with a unique Eastern twist. Vrelo Bosne
Vrelo Bosne is an exceptional park, crisscrossed with many streams creating ponds and islands and representing a geological, hydrologic and horticultural phenomenon. The most beautiful is the very spring of the river Bosna, which flows from several strong karst springs at the altitude of 492 meters.
Mount Igman
This region has specific ecological and climate conditions as well as wildlife, and there is even a small area with rainforest characteristics. Lillium Bosniacum – Bosnian Lilly is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian endemic species which grows on Igman, a mountain also rich in hunting grounds. Igman is always interesting, not only during the winter. With its lush vegetation it is a real “air spa” just outside the city. From spring to late autumn, Igman is the best place for walks, hiking, mountaineering and cycling; in general, this mountain is ideal for those who love untouched nature.
Velika Aleja
Located at the foot of Mount Igman, an attractive walking area which runs from the thermal bath complexes in Ilidža to Vrelo Bosne and the most popular spot in Sarajevo.
War Tunnel
The museum which contains many items from the time of the Siege of Sarajevo and the 800-meter-long corridor.
The Old Town "Baščaršija"
Sarajevo’s old bazaar perfect for traditional shopping, copper goods and known with its cobbled stoned narrow streets lined with greats shops, cafés and to taste the local delight Ćevapi. There, you will find Gazi Husrev Beg Mosque and Medresa and the landmark of Sarajevo, the Sebilj.
